Alley Art Festival was created to reinvent urban spaces with art and is part of an ongoing effort to enhance walkability between the Historic 4th and the Historic Pearl districts in Sioux City, IA.
Alley Art Festival is a street art festival that provides local artists with a platform to show their skills by creating murals in downtown Sioux City alleys. The event will fill the alleys between Pierce and Nebraska Streets and Fourth and Sixth Streets in Souix City, Iowa. Organized by Vangarde Arts, the Alley Art Festival reinvents urban spaces with public arts and enhances the walkability between Historic Fourth Street and Historic Pearl Street Districts. Last year over 2,000 visitors, young and old, filled the festival area and enjoyed live mural painting, a vendor area where you can browse and buy art from local artists and outstanding live music from local and national touring performers!
