Are you new to community arts and community building? Are you a practicing public artist, looking for more network and support? Interested in getting more involved in the Community Built Movement? Want to learn and bring your practice to the next level? Or seeking inspiration?
The leadership workshop is for you!
April 29th, 5pm – May 2nd, 5pm. (3 nights, 3 days) $450 all inclusive.
Community builders will gather for three days before the conference for hands-on experiences.
A day-long welding class at The Steel Yard working on a local public art project
A day of letter press printing at Buena Grafica Social Studio making posters and signs
Numerous talks, communal meals, collaboration and discussions of community building process and skills at the Wedding Cake House
The leadership workshop is limited to 8 participants and will include meals, all workshop materials and accommodations! This is a steal at $450!
No experience necessary. Just a desire to learn, join and share your practice.
Thanks to our generous donors and supporters, the leadership workshop your 2024 conference fee! (a $275 value). Participants will be expected to arrange their own housing during the rest of the conference.
If you are interested, please send a one page statement of interest to by March 15, 2024. Applicants will be reviewed as received and acceptance will be announced by 3/20 2024. payment and registration will be due by 4/15.
Space is limited to 10 people, but please don’t let that stop you. This is going to be great!
